H Horse Comment
1 WYGANT PRINCE Hasn't stayed flat since February 13 second-place finish at Freehold, needs to stay on stride to merit a look down the road.
2 BABY BOY GRIN Never close when eighth upon arrival here, but did take money (3-1) and has one of the better amateur drivers in racing in Spriggs. Trainer: Trained super and should be better this week.
3 ONLY IN MY DREAMS Surged his way into contention three-wide before faltering late in last, would need a contested pace for any shot here.
4 LASER LUCY Did not do good things in seasonal debut at Pocono, tough to recommend.
5 CUP DAY SPUR N Off a pair of superb efforts for the United States Harness Writers Association's Amateur Driver of the Year, Hannah Miller; top billing.
6 SIX BAX Crushed his foes at Monti, faces tougher task tonight but moves up a notch if the track plays to speed.
7 BLAZIN DELORES Respectable form but will be tested for class.
8 TROTALOT Hasn't been close in his last three starts but all of those were against better; Spagnola trains.
9 MR RIDGETAKER Has not raced well in last four, the last three of which were at the Meadowlands.
10 CAPTAIN PRIMEAU Six starts on the season, hasn't hit the board in any, draws the 10 hole.
2 Second Race Entries
Picks: 7-5-6-3
H Horse Comment
1 CASH ME OUT Rallied four wide to take last for fun but faces far better foes tonight.
2 WAITING ON A WOMAN Speedy sort led to the lane before settling for third at Saratoga in seasonal debut; won here 3 ½-months ago in impressive, two-move fashion; will be heard from in the coming weeks.
3 APPOMATTOX Performed capably if not spectacularly in both starts this year, Burke trainee merits a look when playing Trifectas.
4 NOT AFRAID Takter trainee ships in from Yonkers and drops into tough spot.
5 OPULENT YANKEE Displayed high speed, got nailed on the wire in last as the 8-5; biggest concern in three-week layoff. Trainer: Missed a few weeks of racing. He has been training well. He meets tougher opponents than in previous starts. Is fresh off a layoff but needs best effort against these horses.
6 CROSBYS CLAM BAKE Sat a perfect pocket on the way to beating Opulent Yankee on March 4; you can throw out last at Yonkers, a bad-post, early break, mile and a quarter disaster.
7 JL CRUZE The only trotter in Meadowlands history to break the 1:50 barrier tailed off some at the end of 2015 but returns looking fresh and ready to go off a pair of good qualifiers after six months on the shelf. Trainer: Trained well Tuesday, qualified twice and kept the plugs in both times, should do well.
3 Third Race Entries
Picks: 5-9-3-4
H Horse Comment
1 CELEBRITY STIMULUS Consistent check-earner in the amateur ranks could grab a piece at long odds.
2 RINGSIDE WINNER Speedy Freehold win at 2-5 two back came against weak foes, but this one is sharp and could also sneak into the exotics.
3 BLUEBIRD KIDSQUEEN Don't let 0-for-8 record fool you, this one has been competitive of late with respectable claiming stock.
4 KEYSTONE THOMAS Blasted down the pike as the 4-5 for his first win of the year in last, could do it again.
5 WINDSUN GALLIANO Powerhouse score in last puts this one right there; Kleinhans and this one did some good things together in February.
6 KEENAN Another who has a chance to be close at long odds off consecutive third-place Big M finishes at this level.
7 B L CLASS ACT Including tonight, has done poorly at the post draw in five straight but could find some live cover in what should be race with several lead changes.
8 SPIDER BLUE CHIP Nothing short of superb in last winning at Yonkers and has plenty of back class; watch out.
9 DETROIT RAPPER Came up short in last after rallying from four wide to get second at 2-5; the one to beat. Trainer: Raced OK a week ago, he should have won, but that's racing. Did not train him this week.
10 DON DORADO Has only two starts over the last 15 months, and both of those left much to be desired; pass.
4 Fourth Race Entries
Picks: 1-6-7-2
H Horse Comment
1 MOSCONI HANOVER Donato Hanover product makes career debut for Takter off a pair of good qualifiers. Trainer: Making his first lifetime start and qualified well when facing some good horses. Will need a few starts to be a factor.
2 HIPPITY HOP Showed promise after a good-looking third three back but two outings since have been subpar to say the least.
3 GONE VIRAL Sixth in last at 120-1, has much improving to do.
4 HILLOSOPHICAL Went off stride in both pari-mutuel outings, do not include.
5 MOLON LAVE Displayed some speed in last at 100-1, improving sort still has work to do.

5 Fifth Race Entries
Picks: 9-8-3-5
H Horse Comment
1 ARTISTIC GUSSIE Raced well for second four back on March 4 but has done little since, may need a return to facing 3- and 4-year-olds. Trainer: I've been happy with all of her recent efforts and this race is the softest spot she has been in.
2 GIMMESOMEROOM Was an uncompetitive seventh at 72-1 upon arrival here, may need to head back down the Parkway to Freehold.
3 CNDIANA JONES Showed good early speed in last before settling for fifth, took money (5-2) that night and is one of the marquee performers in less than show-stopping event.
4 KITTI PLACE Shipped in from Freehold to finish a rail-sitting-throughout third with these; consider.
5 K Js CAROLINE First start of the year was respectable and drop in class puts this one in the mix.
6 BUONCAMMINO Rallied to get fourth in first start of the year and may have a bit more in store tonight.
7 M A JACKIE Low-end ($4,000) claimer from Freehold has won two of her last three, but will have to bring her absolute best to compete with these.
8 A AND Gs DESIGN Veteran claimer has been paying her way at Freehold, with four on-the-board finishes in her last five starts; include.
9 DAVITA Second-best to strong (Intoview at 2-1) favorite in last for Mark Silva; could be ready to pop tonight. Trainer: Improved with the open bridal last week and hope she keeps improving.
10 ARTIC BYRD Has much to do from this post, in tough spot.
6 Sixth Race Entries
Picks: 7-3-9-4
H Horse Comment
1 POUNCE HANOVER Finished a respectable rail-sitting fourth Tuesday at Pocono taking money. Question: Will the short layoff be a problem?
2 DANISH DURANGO Gets some much-needed class relief off a dull sixth and may show some improvement.
3 OPENING NIGHT Showed some improvement in last two outings with better foes; lifetime winner of better than $800,000 could be in the winning spot. Trainer: Trained well, hoping he finds his old form.
4 ALL THAT SPARKLES Never left the rail when third as the favorite in seasonal debut but bumps up to face older foes tonight, which could prove tough.
5 EXQUISITE GLIDE Earned his way out of the NW$5,000 condition with a solid second but that compromises his chances here, having to face better.
6 MONTALBANO BI Hasn't raced well in two straight and appears to be in need of a class drop.
7 TRUE BLUE STRIDE Graduated from NW2 with a smashing 2 ½-length score; could prove ready for this. Trainer: If he's as good as he was last week, he'll be able to go with these horses.
8 CYPRESS POINT Not close in either of his last two at this level, tough to recommend.
9 SHEER FLEX Crushed this kind as the 11-10 public choice three back; was in too deep last two, back where he belongs.
10 STITCH IN TIME Has proven he can go with this kind; winner of 26-of-86 lifetime starts can take all with some live cover.
7 Seventh Race Entries
Picks: 6-7-2-4
H Horse Comment
1 HOMINY HILL Maintained a proper gait in neither of his 2016 outings, let him stay flat for a start before getting involved.
2 B YOYO Dropped to this level and failed after going a tough trip, Johnson trainee beat this type on February 12.
3 KOLBEE'S STAR Dover Downs shipper has won half of his eight starts this year but can he hack the mile track?
4 OUTBURST Shows some good lines against some tough Yonkers customers, could grab a piece.
5 POCKET TRIP Raced well in the open ranks at Pompano, but those horses are likely not quite as good as these.
6 ITS HUW YOU KNOW Looking for his fourth straight score for Ron Burke, likely favorite should prove tough to beat. Trainer: Has never been sharper.
7 YOU'RE MAJESTIC Shipped in from Yonkers and rallied well, finishing a close-up third to Its Huw You Know, dangerous.
8 SIX GUN HALL Broke stride in last at Dover to remain winless on the year but has some back class and bears watching.
9 ROYAL BECCA J Veteran horseman Jack Parker Jr. has always had a way with speedballs like this, could be firing away from the gate.
8 Eigth Race Entries
Picks: 6-10-1-4
H Horse Comment
1 SWEET TIME Versatile sort can win this from on or just off the pace; looks like shrewd claim by Vincent Fusco, Jr.
2 INTOVIEW Swept past cheaper upon arrival from Yonkers and might have enough back class to be competitive here.
3 FOUR HOUR NAP Nothing good happened in either start this year; needs to improve.
4 ROYAL ENGAGEMENT Five straight on-the-board finishes with this type put this one in the mix.
5 TWICE AN ANGEL Shows an impressive mark of four wins in six seasonal tries but who was she facing?
6 EXOTIC BEACH Finished third in return to this level, beat these going first-over four back; obvious chance to win it all.
7 WEEKEND GETAWAY Dull tries at Saratoga were the result of her lack of gate speed, back where she won from off the pace on March 11.
8 MISS DEFIANCE Flexed her back class muscles to beat similar in last at almost 10-1, must include.
9 LIGHTNING PAIGE Another on a long list of Yonkers shippers who could prove to be competitive at the Big M.
10 FANTICIPATION Classiest horse in the field draws the worst post but there should be a live outer flow in this race.
9 Ninth Race Entries
Picks: 5-9-7-3
H Horse Comment
1 PIXEL QUEEN Monticello shipper will have to go quite a bit faster than usual to be close in this spot.
2 LINDYS BEST YET Another Monti regular who has a lot of improving to do to be competitive.
3 SOCKS AND SHUZY Freehold regular has done a lot of winning lately and should be close to the action when they turn for home.
4 FALCOR BLUESTONE Poor effort at Yonkers Tuesday - last place at 84-1 - puts this one in the ‘wait and see' category.
5 NEVER EVER CLEVER Not much form but with this precipitous drop in class this one is sure to wake up in a big way. Trainer: Got roughed up in last start at Yonkers. Big track should help get her groove back.
6 MAGGLIO Surprise win in an amateur event was good, but form prior to that was a bit suspect, tough to gauge.
7 COMMENTARY Almost lasted for Team Remmen when dropped in with this kind a week ago and may last to the wire tonight.
8 PAINITE First outing of the year was a dull try from the back of the pack at Pocono; can't get behind this one.
9 HUNKOFBURNINLOVE Recent Lasix adder was a constructive fourth at 3-1 in last, Burke trainee can take all.
10 NATURAL KEMP Has never been in this soft but with only one win in his last 20 starts and the 10 hole, faces an uphill battle.
10 Tenth Race Entries
Picks: 9-7-5-3
H Horse Comment
1 JACKS TO OPEN String of bad posts comes to an end but this level simply looks too tough for this one.
2 ULSTER Rarely gets bet but is always in the hunt, Spagnola trainee is worthy of inclusion.
3 MR LOVER Got up to beat this kind as the 1-5 choice two back but doesn't figure to get bet like that tonight.
4 POSSESSED FASHION Never left the rail in first start of the year when fourth, Fanning student will need at least one more before being a serious contender.
5 CLEMENTINE DREAM Loads of class for Mark Harder, which has been a good angle throughout this meeting.
6 LAZARUS Has a win and two near misses in his last three but hasn't been in against stock like this in a long time.
7 WATKINS Sprinted home in :26.3 to get up on the wire with one-rung cheaper and has proven before he can go with these. Trainer: Raced super last week but moves up in class again. Needs a good trip.
8 TWO HIP DIP Consistent performer shows a win at this level three back, can do it at a price.
9 CAN DO No longer has the good form he displayed earlier in the year but should wake up plummeting in class.
10 MESMERIZED Ran out of class when facing this kind in last but could use his speed to get into contention here.
11 Eleventh Race Entries
Picks: 5-8-4-2
H Horse Comment
1 MISCHIEF MAKER N New Zealand import's only sighting on an American track was a March 11 qualifier, more data needed.
2 MANDY'S MATTJESTY Shipped in from the Meadows with a stacked resume but ended up heading for the paddock at the half-mile marker after broken equipment ended her night early; watch the board.
3 THE SUMMER WIND Blew down the road with similar Pocono stock but hadn't done well in prior starts at the Big M.
4 NOT BEFORE EIGHT Fast-closing winner with lesser is from the high-percentage Elliott barn and is no stranger to racing with this kind.
5 THE SHOW RETURNS Toscano trainee takes on conditioned foes after unsuccessful stint in the high-powered Blue Chip Series at Yonkers. Trainer: Returns from Yonkers and drops in class.
6 PURITY Winner at this level two back as the favorite is obviously capable and will be a far better price in this stronger field.
7 ASHOK ACE Returned from a 3½-month layoff with a respectable rail-sitting fifth-place finish with better stock and has a chance to land a piece.
8 IDEAL NUGGETS Stakes competitor from 2016 actually beat better (and older) conditioned foes last year as a 3-year-old; off a constructive tightener.
12 Twelfth Race Entries
Picks: 10-7-1-2
H Horse Comment
1 BELL A CHICK Never involved when dropped to this level in last when sent off as the favorite, could be the one in weak field.
2 MASS APPEAL Shows two speed wins in her last three starts with inexpensive Freehold stock.
3 BAD DAY BLACK ROCK Has had two opportunities at this level and has yet to have an exceptional effort.
4 CHERRY TREE NICOLE Another Freehold shipper trying to find her way who did manage to grab the show dough in last.
5 JACKS REEF Julie Miller student has shown little in his two seasonal starts; barn may think this horse might benefit racing on the big track.
6 KABU Pompano Park shipper has some respectable lines on his resume and merits respect when playing the exotics.
7 FEISTY LOVE Rallied some for fourth facing better stock of late, drop in class could lead to a winner's circle visit. Trainer: Had a good week and look forward to a good effort.
8 GLORIOUS WINNER Wasn't close in seasonal debut on March 18 and driver switch to Brett Miller is a big help.
9 GRANDPRIX SEELSTER Freehold regular has looked good in three of his last four but post and lack of early speed hurts.
10 BROOKROAD KNIGHT Took money (3-2), came to life at this level last week, could take all, even from this post.
