Ken Warkentin’s $500,000 Hambletonian Oaks Winter Book 

 

Anoka Hanover – won the $451,800 Goldsmith Maid for freshman trotting fillies. Todd McCarthy drove the Noel Daley-trained filly to victory in 1:53.2. The Kindergarten Classic champion scored her seventh-straight win of the season and her 10th win in 14 starts. Noel Daley co-owns the daughter of Donato Hanover—Aunt Mel along with LA Express Stable LLC and Caviart Farms. 

 

Lady Chaos – Won the $600,000 Breeders Crown Final for 2 year old filly trotters in 1:54.4. Lady Chaos accrued over $565,000 for owners Richard Gutnick, Thomas Pontone, Joseph Lozito Jr. and Enviro Stables Ltd. Linda Toscano trains and Hall of Famer David Miller drives. 

 

Donna Soprano - won five of seven races and more than $575,000 for owners Determination Stables and trainer Luc Blais. Her wins included sweeps of the Pure Ivory and Peaceful Way Stakes, a win in a Champlain division and an impressive runner-up finish in the inaugural edition of the Mohawk Million. 

 

Flawless Country – trained and driven by Ake Svanstedt she has won over $430,000.  She won the $253,000 PASS Championship, International Stallion Stakes and finished second in the $451,800 Goldsmith Maid and Bluegrass Stakes.  

 

Iteration – This full sister to Gimpanzee is owned by Courant Inc and trained by Marcus Melander.  She was New York Sires Stakes champion, earning $315,009 with a mark of 1:53.3 

 

Insta GlamThis homebred daughter of Father Patrick-Hollywood Hill is owned by Goran Falk and Christina Takter and trained by Nancy Takter. She won over $308,000 and had a stakes record win in the PASS at the Meadows.  

 

Mazzarati - Trained by Lucas Wallin, she ended her 2-year-old campaign with four wins in 11 starts and $250,552 in earnings. Mazzarati is by Cantab Hall out of Falls For You. This 24-1 long shot won her Breeders Crown elim for owners Mazza Racing Stables and Stormi and Bruiser Stable.  

 

Darlene Hanover – Winner of 4 of 8 with over $239,000 in earnings for Brett Bittle and Yankeeland Partners. Her biggest win came on Hambletonian day 2020 with her impressive win in the Jim Doherty Final. 

 

Swift Swanda Took her 1:55.2 lifetime mark in the INSS 2 year old trotting fillies final.  Trained by Erv Miller, the daughter of Swan For All-Cheetah is owned by Anthony Lombardi and The Kales Company, the filly is now 10-6-1-1 and has banked over $228,000. 

 

Beautiful Game – Hit the board in 10 of her 12 starts earning over $230,000 for trainer Nifty Norman. She won a leg of the KYSS and the International Stallion Stakes and finished second in the KYSS Final and third in the Goldsmith Maid.
