Pocono Downs’ week for Grand Circuit action closed with three “Reynolds” affairs for soph-filly trotters on July 12. Each division was worth $25,000. Eleven “Oaks”-eligibles were spread out in the trio on a track rated “sloppy.”

In the first division, four hopefuls participated. The winner was Offbroadway De Vie, an eligible, sent off the 6-5 favorite.

In second was Photo Charm (9-5). “Charm” was first over around the first turn, challenging “De Vie” and holding on well. In fourth was Full Tank (27-1), who shook loose after finding cover behind a hung Ruffles (10-1 eligible finishing sixth).

In the second division, four Oaks-eligibles were in, with a scratch of another hopeful Levi’s Lady. The only one finishing in the money was Madam Hooch (5-2) who got third on the rail. “Hooch” stalked the leader but couldn’t show any strength when it counted most. The other hopefuls, Royal Clout (5-2), Title Ix (11-1) and Tactical Caviar (30-1) were out of the money. “Caviar” and “Title” broke.

In the final division, three Oaks-hopefuls were against six that are not on the Oaks list. The one that did the best was Ally-gal Ridge (9-5), finishing second. “Ridge” was hung but made a late rally to get the place spot. Third was Spectacular Bay (18-1), who led throughout and started to draw away, but was eventually challenged and gave in. Fifth was Andovermetreasure (22-1). “Treasure” sat the pocket and had nothing.
