RACE 1

6-Beyond Ordinary – Tangled with N/W of 4 & just missed against N/W 3 in PA, simply too far back after a slow start from post nine & still hit the board in his Big M debut, look for a better start & chance to pick it up

 

5-Questichap – Took advantage of an inside draw & tripped out to upset a similarly soft field & took a new mark with Brian Sears, Trond Smedshammer-tuned filly with a future has license to improve further & come right back

 

1-Light Blue Movers – Beaten even money favorite off a sharp Pocono qualifier, offered a late bid & faded to fourth in the comebacker, makes his second start for Team Svanstedt & set up for more aggressive handling from the rail

 

RACE 2

5-Atomic Blast N – Paid off the chalk players with a hard-used new mark of 1:52.3 first time Lasix @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, then overmatched in a 1:50.4 mile here last week, now drops back to a more reasonable level

 

1-Southwind Petyr –Lightly-raced American Ideal colt already a NYSS winner in 1:52.4 @ Vernon Downs, a solid runner in his Big M debut, lands the rail in light match up & leads a Mark Harder 1-2 punch

 

6-Well Done Son – Broke his maiden in fine style @ Pocono this summer, flashed some late pace here two starts back & looks to rebound off a miscue @ Harrah’s Philadelphia

 

RACE 3

1-Slated To Win – Barn change alert & look how Terry Morgan turned Lasa Dida Lady around, plus there’s major class relief & the rail to wipe out his poor recent form

 

3-INXS – Has come around in his last two with a game grind & narrow loss @ Saratoga, then a solid second here & draws much better off that acclimating mile

 

5-Biodetti Hanover – Struggled to make much headway this season, but showing some positive signs in his last two @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, returns here at the bottom condition & faces a camera-shy bunch

 

RACE 4

2-Mitch Maguire N – Qualified with vigor after a long layoff & had zero chance from post eight in the comebacker last week, moves inside a complete toss up field & gets another shot at this reduced level

 

8-More The Better N – Won his Big M qualifier off a sick scratch layoff, then forced wide from an impossible spot, owns some back class & his barn is going well

 

4-Western Hill – 0 wins & seconds this season, yet did hit the board with a much-improved rally here two starts back at the bottom level, then offered a similar effort @ Yonkers, draws better & banks on a fast pace set up

 

RACE 5

6-Wishy Washy Girl – Beaten favorite had dead aim after a perfect second over trip & came up third best against a couple of sharp ones last week, remains at the same reduced level to atone

 

7-Manhattan Play – Team Cullipher mare just one for 16 this season, ideally rated to produce another narrow loss last week, faced tougher recently & more challenging post may make her a stalking threat this time

 

4-Rapunzel Blue Chip – Filly finished well chasing a raging Exotic Dance in a decent acclimating mile last week & draws the same inside post to follow up

 

RACE 6

4-Stonedust – Classy grey with a mark of 1:49 here this season has taken a few miles to regain form, drops a notch off a much-needed comebacker & draws well in a field ripe for the taking

 

1-Rockin The Aces – 1:49.4 performer here this season has quickly regained winning form with two energetic scores @ lower levels, 3YO looks poised to step up from the rail for a high percentage barn

 

3-Franco Totem N – Got shuffled out here two starts back, then never got involved from post seven @ Harrah’s Philadelphia last Sunday, horse-for-the-course is back here with a chance to trip out from an inside post

 

RACE 7

9-Reign Of Honor – Lands outside trying to rebound off a rare early miscue here, trounced them in the NJ Maturity before that, owns a 1:52.3 mark @ The Big M this season & gives Team Melander a strong 1-2 punch

 

1-Lasa Dida Lady – Added Dexter Dunn & turned right around with back-to-back career best miles of 1:54 in emphatic style, bumped up in class again, but lands the rail in field full of big question marks

 

6-Hatikvah – Team Melander 4YO with success here in the past, has ramped up his game, ships in fresh off a pair of solid seconds @ Harrah’s Philadelphia & gets some class relief

 

RACE 8

6-Seeing Eye Single – Closed from the clouds to hit the board in his return to the Big M, this is another class drop too hard to ignore & this Team Burke trainee makes his third start off a sick scratch

 

2-Solo Story – Moves inside fresh off a no-chance trip from post ten last week, classy horse-for-the-course drops into a prime spot to stalk n pop for a revived barn

 

5-Soho Chelsea A – Thought he was sitting on a big one last week & somehow got parked first over from post two, previous two were nice stalking efforts & now he drops a notch

 

RACE 9

4-Blood Line – Switched to Scottie Z & stormed home from a tough spot to hit the ticket in last week’s feature, now gets some class relief & draws the same inside post in a field with several sharp possibilities

 

5-Rock The Devil – On a positive trend in his last three, took a mark of 1:49.2 @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, then a solid runner up here last week & rates major contender status

 

1-Respect Our Flag – Moves inside off a pair of no-chance trips here, while closing with his usual late vigor, remains a live threat for Team Bongiorno & can see him taking advantage of the rail with a close up stalking trip

 

RACE 10

1-Ideal Feeling – 1:48.4 performer here this season was really feeling it when he wired them here from post nine in 1:49 two starts back & has to be feared with aggressive handling likely from the rail

 

3-U S Captain – Tripped out to a decisive 1:49.2 tally in last week’s feature, fresh n hot Team Alagna-tuned 4YO rewarded with a better post for his third start off the bench & leads a razor sharp Alagna 1-2 punch 

 

4-Wes Delight – Regained his winning edge after missing his 4YO season, looks ready to step up off a career best 1:49.4 last week & draws well again to complete a Team Alagna dynamic duo

 

RACE 11

4-The First Step – Sports a 1:50 mark here this season for Team Burke, gets a double class drop & draws well & was a good second here two starts back with a :53.4 back half

 

1-Del Los Cielos Deo – Classy Team Burke 4YO sparked his form with a third by a neck in :25.4 two starts back, then thundered home to score from post nine with a :53.4 back half, now lands the rail on the way back up in class

 

3-Love The Blues N – Slow starts from outside posts have proven costly in his last two, took a mark of 1:50.3 here back on August 7, now finds an ideal spot to employ a stalk n pop strategy

 

RACE 12

5-Followthewind N – Forced wide off a rated pace & picked up minor spoils from post nine last week, been maintaining good form & draws better off a needed acclimating mile

 

6-Exotic Dance – Red-hot Team Bongiorno-tuned mare going for four in a row & third straight off a sick scratch, 1:51.1 performer here this season obviously loves the Big M

 

4-Charms Little Sis – Beaten favorite was handled & raced well to finish second in her second start here, draws inside again to play a prime stalking opportunist role 

 

RACE 13

5-Imageofarocker – Catapulted off a fast pace to upset these two starts back & just missed before that, returns to the Big M with a better post & chance to pounce on these late

 

3-Whatstroublingurocky – 1:50.4 mark @ The Big M this season & trending in the right direction @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, just one for 16 in 2020, but draws inside to set up his preferred stalking strategy

 

6-Western Redhot – Was buried at the back turning for home when several opened up the rail & he was able to surge for the upset & new mark of 1:52.3, that was quite a turn around & must prove it was no fluke
