10-Brookroad Knight – Gelding has been working himself into shape, drops to the bottom rung, shows a second to Magenta Man, obviously needs some luck from post ten

3-Celebrity Massive – Suddenly righted his ship, tripped out & finished a close second to the talented filly Pink Pistol, that mile is enough to beat these & lands post three again

4-Cypress Point – Finished a solid second back on 1-22, sparked his form at Freehold, then regressed into another break last week, third start for the Russo Stable from an inside post

5-Crosby’s Clam Bake – Persistent gelding has been on the ticket in five of six & romped in two of his last three, exploded home to upset last week’s Open in :27.3, always a dangerous stalker

1A-Opulent Yankee – Grinded uncovered from post nine, then forced to angle away from a drifting B Yoyo & caused a chain of interference, won two Opens in his previous three, draws a bit better & part of a strong entry

6-Can Do – Left well from post eight, sat in, got shuffled & was raging late in :27.3, expect him to get involved despite another outside draw

4-Delta Dawn Hanover – Was landing on the fringes with fairly solid finishes, then got bogged down from post ten, finally moves inside & retains Andrew McCarthy

6-Bring Them Home – Just missed by a nose three starts back on 1-29, used too hard from post ten last out, figures to be the main, controlling speed

3-Goinroundncircles – Regained her edge with back-to-back wins at Freehold, then finished a distant third here last week, chance to employ her best stalking strategy

7-Mesmerized – Added Lasix & put forth an excellent second start off the bench here, grinded gamely & held the place for red-hot connections

2-Bjanthony – Stepped up off the blowout wire-to-wire career best from post seven & got softened up by Mesmerized, draws back inside with form to atone

6-Stitch In Time – Pace compromised in two fairly quick miles at this level after winning at the bottom level in 1:54.2, remains a stalking contender

8-Photo Mass – Displayed some positive signs before last week’s effort, which wasn’t that bad, only two for his last 39, but has come around since dropping to this level

10-Downundermatter – Just one for his last 26, but has hit the board in three of his last four, closed from a long way back last week to grab second, chance despite post ten again

6-R Sam – Exits a no-chance mile & showed some improvement in his start before that, reunited with Anthony Napolitano & lands in a very soft spot

9-Jerseylicious – Class of the field dropped n popped with a confidence-boosting score at Dover Downs & returns here at a reduced level

3-She’s Heavenly – Nailed this one at a keen $35.00 on the class drop last week, double jumps in class off that acclimating mile, but draws well again & may be up to another

7-Virgin Mary – Banked over $118,000 in 20155, while a bit camera-shy, drops off a much needed tightening mile last week

7-Rock Of Cashel – Romped by an emphatic seven fresh off the bench, then got run into while raging late in last week’s Open, primed for his third start here

5-Magenta Man – Made it a perfect five-for-five with a career best of 1:54.3 last week, slips under the money cap & this can actually be construed as a class drop

2-Ulster – Finished fourth behind Magenta Man last week after a quick start from post eight, a solid second before that & draws inside to line up a stalking trip

2-Not Before Eight – Has been knocking on the door in her last four starts, severely pace compromised last time, remains fresh & sharp for Steve Elliott & lands post two again

3-Gweneeee J – This Linda Toscano trainee has clearly been hitting on all cylinders recently, just a nose shy of three in a row, equaled her lifetime mark with a wicked :26.3 for the upset

1-Misssomebeachblue – Was absolutely flying from a tough spot to just miss last week, finally moves inside to get within closer striking range

3-Charles VII – Trotted another 1:54.3 mile, but it turned into a mighty late surge in :27.2 & lost by a nose to the streaking Magenta Man, draws well to put him across

2-Hot Type – Second start off a sick scratch produced a serious rally & 12-1 upset, lands post two again on a deserving step up in class for his new barn

10-Massacaia – Moves outside, yet fresh off a decisive score in a career best of 1:53.3 & just missed at the Open 2 level back on 1-15

7-Montalbano Bi – Barely outsprinted Photo King for the 19-1 upset & any last out winner with trot at both ends deserves a long look

1-Orange Bigi – Got going a bit too late last week, yet did a great job of overcoming post nine on the step up in class & moves inside here in solid form

4-Hot Start – Twice beaten favorite just missed to an inexplicable upsetter in Cool Beans, needed the race, regained her form since the sick scratch & draws well in a competitive field

10-Flyhawk El Durado – Drops even further off a wake-up effort & rallied prematurely, chance to flaunt his class despite post ten

4-Ballare Hanover – Came right back to dominate these last week & her two previous wins were career best 1:55, tough to go against for white-hot connections

3-Mr Lover – Decisive winner in his first start here after a month off, then broke at The Meadows, reunited with Tetrick & draws well to rebound

6-Carrickmannon N – New Zealand import took a couple of starts to get her act together & romped with authority at Freehold & lands in a camera-shy field here

3-Caviart Shelly – Her second start here was quite a turn around as she almost went all the way last week & her post improves

1-That Woman Hanover – Owns a mark of 1:50 here, makes her second start off the sick scratch & has a chance to produce a stronger punch from the rail

5-P L Houdini – Fresh off a solid second off the bench he set a pressured pace & held third last week after missing three weeks, a seven-time winner last season

8-Im Not Vanilla – Ran into the raging Ballare Hanover & picked up third, while pace compromised again, rallied for a nice upset here back on 1-30

6-Duluth – Hooked up in an ill-fated duel with P L Houdini & faded to seventh as the beaten favorite again, finished a solid second before that & now acclimated

6-Stirling Accord – Gelding carried his form spree into a pair of thirds here, just missed last week with trot at both ends & looks like he has a big chance

3-Charmedndangerous – On the fringe fifth in all three starts here, but her post improves & she capable of finishing well enough with a closer stalking trip

4-Cup Day Spur N – 9YO gelding shipped to NJ & has a win & a second at Freehold for his new barn & draws well to build on that success
