RACE 1

6          Melady’s Monet – Hats off to trainer Kevin McDermott, who had this 8YO millionaire on his toes despite a five-month layoff, converted the perfect pocket trip & outmuscled a well-rated favorite Opulent Yankee, 1:51.4 Vincennes winner here Hambletonian Day 2016 has a big chance to build on that triumphant comeback

1A        Rose Run Parker – 11-time winner in 2016 with a sharp mark of 1:50.4 at The Big M was a game 1:53.4 winner in his 2017 debut here back on 2-17, looking to bounce back off a miscue in the Yonkers Open for Team Burke

5          Opulent Yankee – Consistent Team Orange Crush gelding had things his own way again & couldn’t quite fend off the fresh pocket sitter Melady’s Monet last week, can easily bounce back & turn the tables, yet must also deal with a formidable Burke trainee this time

RACE 2

3          Sim Brown – The beaten heavy favorite two starts back when he was well rated by John Kokinos & surprised by the pocket-sitting longshot Scirocco Jakob, lands post three again, chance to bounce back from getting parked last week

4          Keenan – Tackled better here last season when he beat these four times, seemed poised before he flattened out off cover in :32 last week, obviously wasn’t himself, chance to bounce back & show his class

6          Karets – Posted back-to-back blowout wins for Joseph lee last month, beaten chalk forced wide from a tough spot last time, possible brush n crush candidate in a pretty competitive GSY Club Final

RACE 3

5          Stimulus Plan – Recent Nick Surick claim & beaten favorite hooked up in an ill-fated speed duel last week, draws better to rebound for two-time amateur champion Hannah Miller

6          Legends Luck – 9YO gelding with a new lease on life made it two straight upsets when he stormed home off the speed duel last week for Roy Marohn & banks on a similar scenario in a competitive final

3          Who Do You Like – Set a record for amateur pacing events on 2-24, too far back on 3-3, ultra game runner up to Legends Luck last week & draws inside that rival in sharp form

RACE 4

1          Aplomb Hanover – Brother to Possess The Will, 1:54 [$618,262] flashed some late life to finish third in his lone qualifier, looks like this could be another gem for Team Orange Crush

2          Shecheatedondewey – Burke-tuned filly had some stakes experience at two, sister to Scorcher Hall, 1:53.1 [$109,179] comes off a solid qualifier & inside draw makes her contender

5          Uncle Leroy – Star of the Ohio fairs makes his 4YO debut for new connections, went all the way to win a well-rated qualifier here, making an immediate contender

RACE 5

5          Uncle Leroy – Star of the Ohio fairs makes his 4YO debut for new connections, went all the way to win a well-rated qualifier here, making an immediate contender

3          Future Life – Reeled off three in a row before getting pressured into submission last week as the even money favorite, figures to be gunning from an inside post, but likely no easy leads in this final

6          Vraka Hanover – Followed up her rousing win two starts back with a solid third to Sportsmuffler from post eight last week, switches to Gingras & deserves a long look

RACE 6

3          Montalbano Bi – Was on a major form spree before getting shuffled & finishing fourth to Its Payday Friday & company last week, Team Harmon gelding has the speed & inside post to rebound

4          Its Payday Friday – Moved forward fresh off an excellent comeback with a decisive score from post seven last week with plenty left, big threat to repeat from an improved post

1          Its Chocolate Time – Consistent gelding went all the way in a dominant performance two starts back, left in the wake of Its Payday Friday last week, will be prominently placed again from an inside post in a competitive match up

RACE 7

5          Glenferrie Bronte N – New acquisition for trainer Al Annunziata just missed a big upset in her comeback @ Yonkers, 10-time winner in 2016 was an Open competitor in NY & looms large here

6          Know It All – Steady mare has risen to be competitive in the Open ranks @ Yonkers for Eric Abbatiello, figures to adapt well to the longer stretch here

8          Truth And Liberty – Took charge, stole a :57 half & outsprinted them to repeat in style two weeks ago, scored with a sharp late lunge before that, worthy of the step up here

RACE 8

8          Appomattox – Took two starts to regain his winning form in a big way, poised to step up in his third start off the bench & will likely blast off again to avoid any traffic issues

4          Roundtown Rocker – Had a nice little run here earlier this season, just missed with a big effort from post ten on 3-3, 11-time winner in 2017 returns with a favorable post

3          Shady Mccoy – Has struggled since he rallied to a mild upset back on 1-13, switches to Team Orange Crush, adds Lasix, drops in class, draws inside, but hasn’t raced in 28 days, tough to gauge

RACE 9

8          Dustlanemissmolly – Steady mare took the aggressive route was barely outsprinted by a trip-sitting Queen Josephine, gaining confidence, look for her to be forwardly placed again

10         Ava N Ella – Sharp mare on a Lasix-driven form spree carved out a solid pace on a chilly & windy night & just missed to a pocket-sitting Whiskersonkittens last week, can overcome post ten with her speed & upside

9          Time Clock Hanover – Finished an improved third in her second start off the bench for Michael Russo, stuck outside again, yet expect further improvement

RACE 10

5          Bob N Tony – We’ll give him last week’s trip after missing 24 days & coming off a sick scratch, upset winner in the slop here back on 1-20 eligible to step up at a price

6          Celebrity Stimulus – 1:54.3 winner here in 2016 returned from a three-month layoff with a dull sixth-place finish, gets another chance at this reduced level & figures to be better in his second start off the bench

3          Battle Mage – Seemed to tail off before the early miscue on 2-20, then scratched sick, getting more class relief & draws well, but the 25-day layoff makes him difficult to gauge

RACE 11

5          Gadsden Hanover – One third in eight starts in 2017, been tackling tougher posts on NY half milers recently, this is a softer spot & the price may be right

9          Caribbean Rose N – Beaten favorite forced wide & rallied stoutly to hit the board last week, draws a much tougher post, but gets further class relief

7          Candy Styx N – May be cycling around with better results in her last two for trainer Mike Watson, draws the same tough post & looking to rally off a quick pace
